Latin rhythm music once again planted its flag in the charts in 2020 with reggaeton acts dominating the charts thanks to a mix of sounds across genres. As a result, eight of the 10 best acts of the best Latin artists at the end of the year 2020 reside in the sphere of reggaeton. And for a second year in a row, Bad Bunny crossed the finish line as Best Latin Artist and Best Male Artist; Karol G leads the female herd by finishing as the best female artist for the second year in a row (and the only female in the top 10 at the end of the year); Eslabon Armado is the best duo / group and Natanael Cano is the best new artist.

For the second year in a row, Bad Bunny crossed the finish line in first place in the end-of-year ranking of Top Latin Artists. In the follow-up year, he recorded 41 songs that dominated the Hot Latin Songs charts mixed with broadcast, streaming and digital sales (five of them spent time at No.1, sowing a booming closing year for Benito). Additionally, on the Latin Best Albums chart, he spent 45 weeks at No.1 in the chart year with three different No.1 albums.

J Balvin is the finalist in the ranking of the best Latin artists at the end of the year, Ozuna comes in third place, while Anuel AA, Sech and Maluma are respectively 4th and 6th. The male reggaetón brigade in the top 10 is closed by Myke Towers at No. 10.
