Additionally, on the Latin Best Albums chart, he spent 45 weeks at No.1 in the chart year with three different No.1 albums.
J Balvin is the finalist in the ranking of the best Latin artists at the end of the year, Ozuna comes in third place, while Anuel AA, Sech and Maluma are respectively 4 to 6. The male reggaetÃ³n brigade in the top 10 is closed by Myke Towers at n Â° 10.
Only two non-reggaetÃ³n artists make the top 10 list at the end of the year, while 19-year-old newcomer Natanael Cano ranks at No.7 (he’s also the best new artist) and the power of the bachata Romeo Santos is at No. 9. With a gigantic Latin beat dominance in the charts in 2020, traditional tropical salsa, Latin pop, and regional Mexican acts have been mostly sidelined. That said, some regional Mexican acts – in particular the new wave of tumbados trap singer-songwriters (like Cano) – worked with the rhythmic genre, blending regional Mexican sensibility of the street with trap music.
Bad Bunny in the lead: Bad Bunny continues to entertain the masses with great success in the charts thanks to the unique nature of his performance. It comes home as number 1 out of five of Latin’s top end-of-year charts: Top Latin Artists, Top Latin Artists – Male, Top Latin Albums Artists and Hot Latin Songs Artists. He also has the titles n Â° 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the list of the best Latin albums of the end of the year with YHLQMDLG, X 100PRE, Las Que No Iban a Dirty and Oasis with J Balvin, respectively. YHLQMDLG, X 100PRE and Las Que No Iban a Dirty handsets spent 45 weeks at # 1 in the year tracking on the weekly Latin Top Albums chart.

Eslabon Armado and Natanael Cano post Mexican regional breakthroughs: first album of Eslabon Armado You Veneno mortal arrived in the top 10 of the weekly Top Latin Albums chart dated May 16 (with a peak at # 7 in July), then, a few months later, the second album of the teenage trio, Noche vibrations, bowed to No. 1 (August 1). âRITMOâ marks the # 1 year-end debut on Hot Latin Songs for the Peas, but they’re no stranger to surpassing year-end counts. The act triumphed in 2009 with the Billboard Hot 100 Best Song of the Year, “Boom Boom Pow”.
As for J Balvin, âRITMOâ is also his first year-end issue on the Hot Latin Songs recap. He had already approached the top in 2017 and 2018 with the second finalist (both years!) “Mi Gente”, with Willy William with BeyoncÃ©.
